Volunteers are the backbone of R.E.A.C.H. Every tutoring session, clothing drive, and community event relies on neighbors who give their time and skills to strengthen Luzerne County. Join our network and help deliver education, counseling, and support to families building a brighter future.

Volunteer Roles

Training is provided for every position. Choose a role that matches your interests, skills, and schedule.

Educational Support

  • GED Tutor — Math, Science, Social Studies, RLA
  • Digital Literacy Coach — Email, online apps, basics
  • Classroom Assistant — 1:1 support during workshops

Mentorship

  • Youth Mentor — Goals, careers, healthy choices
  • Adult Mentor — Support for recovery, school, jobs

Event Assistance

  • Clothes Drive Volunteer — Sort, set up, assist families
  • Resource Fair Ambassador — Greet and guide guests
  • Clean-Up Crew — Parks, streets, shared spaces

Administrative Support

  • Front Desk Greeter — Welcome, phones, scheduling
  • Data/Files — Accurate records and stats

Specialized Skills

Professionals in healthcare, law, counseling, finance, or technology can provide pro bono services, lead workshops, or advise on program development.
